Well, tonight’s pizza was kind of a bust. We are just starting a gluten free diet (just obvious things like bread) and tonight I made my first ever chickpea flour pizza crust (I read that in France they make it as a flatbread called “socca,” and serve it with lots of pepper and wine!).
For what it was, it was good. But when none of my kids asked for seconds- or had trouble finishing it- and instead peeled themselves a carrot to eat, well...I will be trying a different crust recipe tomorrow night. Or I will make it again and eat it the way they do in France!
Oh well! It was a worth a try and a learning experience!
