My friend posted this article to Facebook - it's an interesting take on how our idea of clean eating might be unintentionally leaving out certain cultures.
This is something I think about a lot, how to be healthy (workout, eat well), but not think that my way is the best way, and you need to eat ALL THE KALE even if it's not a part of your cultural cuisine. I'm also a vegetarian, and would NEVER want someone to think I'm looking down on a culture that has a very meat heavy diet. While my ethics dictate I don't eat animals, everyone feels different about that, and for some people who live in certain climates where growing veg is extremely difficult (north of the Arctic Circle??) reliance on animal protein has historically been a matter of survival.
Hope all you Blenders have a great day - and hope you enjoy the article if you read it!!
