I can't do a reverse plank!

Anyone else have this issue? I can't lift my hips off the ground for a reverse plank at all. Is there any other exercise I can do to strengthen my core so that I can actually plank? I don't even know what muscles I am using (or not using). I can do all the other core exercises and I can hold a standard plank for 80 seconds no problems.
