HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 3rd 🩰🏋️🥶

Hello Blendfriends, welcome to Monday's thread! I had a good weekend for workouts, and got a good start on Barre & Build 🩰🏋️ I'm hoping to keep things up despite what looks like another rather heavy work weeks. I'll just have to see if I can pace myself, hence the above meme, which I hope you will all adopt as your thought for today 😁! And if a steady workout pace during the week isn't possible, at least I know that I can be a magnificent weekend warrior!

Is anyone trying the new LI program? I'm quite tempted, but so far I'm leaning toward getting through my current challenge first. So far barre and strength are working well for me (no headaches or back pain yet), so if I can do two weeks of that, I'll be more ready to take on the mix of styles in the LI challenge. I guess I'll see as I go along. As for today, I'll be doing some good thorough stretches and mobility and letting my muscles recover.

I'm also enjoying more vegetable-based cooking. Last night we had spinach lasagna with textured vegetable protein. It's a new ingredient for me, but it was good! Tonight I want to use up some leftover peanut sauce, so I'll probably air-fry some tofu and various random fresh vegetables. There will be more variety if I can bestir myself to go into the office. I don't have any meetings, but there are colleagues it's useful to see who will be there today, and there's big vegetable market next door. But it's bitterly cold right now 🥶 (-24C "feels like" -31C) and I'm thinking that WFH would be far more cozy on a day like this. Or maybe I'll compromise and go in at noon, when it "feels like" a balmy 🌴 -15C instead!
