Four week meal plan - days 1-3

Hi, just thought I'd share my experience following the first three days of the four-week meal plan. I will probably finish out the week and stop there. :)

I am only eating the meals, and skipping all the snacks. Still, this is a LOT of food.

It's a holiday weekend, and very snowy, so I knew I'd have all three days at home to prep, cook and wash up. As others have said, it's a lot of work to prepare something completely different for every meal. Even just figuring out what I could prepare in batch was challenging. This will be impossible once I go back to work tomorrow.

Suggestions:

- It would be a big help if there were more "prep ahead" breakfasts and lunches, and a guide to help plan things we can batch cook (e.g. pasta, rice, chicken) or prep (e.g. sliced veg).

- To meet the calorie requirement, I bought small tortillas, but once the meal was prepared, it was clear I needed large tortillas. It would be helpful if the recipe was specific about the size AND calories.

- For those of us who shop local, it would be nice if the time sensitive ingredients (e.g. meats) said which day they will be used on, so we know we can buy those items fresh on day 6 or 7, instead of the main shopping day.

- Are there links to images of the prepared meals? If no, that would be a really helpful addition to the meal plan.

The meals have all been delicious, so thank you again for putting the work into creating and testing these meals!
