Hi Friends,
Some nice body neutrality reminders for you today. Yesterday I was feeling like the pilsbury doughboy but today I felt lean and strong. Bodies are so weird.
Yesterday, I was delayed getting home as a friend came for a visit with her baby. I had a very extended coffee break in the afternoon. I had to stop at the store for dinner things and thought, man, now I have no time for my workout. On the walk home, my mind was reminding me that I still had the 30 minutes. I ended up doing the deep stretch yoga after dinner and I am happy I did. Sure, I had a bit less time to relax at the end of the day but I did something good for my body. Do others sometimes have this problem where they have the time but they feel like they don't and then skip a workout? Sometimes the after-work tasks can feel overwhelming and paralyzing. How people with children manage is a wonder to me.
On to today.
I don't know what is on the plan. My upper body is still a bit sore from pilates and the strength I did on Monday. If it is not raining then I will go for a short run/power walk and see how that feels. Or, something from the yoga calendar.
Leftovers for dinner which I am looking forward to. It was really yummy. There was a sauce like component with olives, pistachios, tomato, garlic and cilantro. It was really yummy.
Ok, let's get going on the day. Halfway to Friday.
