Folks, it's Friday. I hope that means pleasant things for you, and if it does not, I hope they pass quickly.

I don't think my brain is screwed in too well, or at least the screws could use a little tightening. Been having a lie down on the couch with a book, and am going to do do some pilates shortly. Will attempt some work later. But first, another cup of tea.

I have book group tomorrow, picnic in the park special edition. That sounds hypothetically fun, until I remember that I won't be able to eat anything that anyone else brings, or use the bbqs. I think the assumption is that I'll bring my own food, but putting together a picnic for 1 and carrying it there on the train feels like a big pain. Also, I've already done the shopping, fridge is full of food, none of it is picnic related, and walking to the shops and spending more money on stuff I don't need does not appeal. I may fill a thermos with tea and call it good.
