This quick, efficient core workout is under 15 minutes and can be used as a standalone routine or as an add-on to your strength/cardio training session:
With three progressively challenging 5-exercise circuits that build off each other, this workout has a bored easily feel. We challenge the core from different angles, changing limb (lever) lengths and adding minor balance components to give your abdominals, lower back muscles, glutes, and hip flexors a solid workout that will strengthen your foundation of movement.
I filmed this workout as an add-on to another workout I filmed for you all and with tired arms and legs, I was even more focused than usual on which core muscles were primary movers for each exercise. I’m also shocked that I didn’t faceplant during the side planks (success).
