Right then.
We should talk workouts first: rest day for me, although we decided to clean our apartment as the weather today is appalling! Hopefully it’s better tomorrow and then we can do something nice outdoorsy again. Yesterday for walk leading the charity walk (I did 5k+ what with walking the last 1k back and forward again to encourage and direct the stragglers) we had perfect weather, bluer than blue skies. Don’t know why these can’t stay. But hey, bad weather means chores get done. So what about your workout today? Or non-workout today? Do you clean your house on a specific day or prefer to sort of go with the flow? Do you think of that as a workout? I do: functional fitness indeed.
Food: no problem in choosing today! We are off to a friend’s house for a board games evening. Walking there so 🍷 is on the menu! Are you a weekend wine drinker? Do you drink alcohol at times? Or not at all?

We had a lovely time: we had our faces painted, there was a bubble machine and stars (as in Captain America, Ghostbusters, Snowwhite, Mary Poppins, The Incredible Hulk, Sulley etc etc) on the lawn! Oh and of course the walk in beautiful surroundings! Special mention to an older man pushing his adult daughter in her wheelchair the whole 5k!! I really was in awe of him. But also there were some obviously not so well people still managing the 3k. And they all had special reasons for doing this walk, which brought tears to my eyes in some cases!!! I really hope they raised a lot of money. In the replies some more collages (the bubbles, the stars).
And eh: everyone is welcome here, just reading, just writing, just chatting, just ranting….
