Last night a friend and I went down to the beach for a swim in the sea. After a while we decided to do some aquablender: exercises in the sea (squat jumps, jumping lunges, tyre jumps, scissor kicks, sideways twists with hands under water and quite a few more). We had loads of fun and a good total body workout!
Then this morning another friend asked if I wanted to join her for a swim. With it being rather choppy and a strong current against, our speed was slow, but we swam along and happily chatted away.
That made me realise: “this is my happy place!” Not BY the sea but rather IN the sea. So maybe it’s more my “happy activity”, rather than a “happy place”.

What’s your “happy place” or “happy activity”?
