Finally a day that was warm enough and a sea that was calm enough to do Aquablender… doing our exercises in the sea.
First of all we warmed up, (well can you call it a warm up in water temp 16 degrees Centigrade?) by running in the water. We did some dolphin dives, star jumps, torso rotations, forward/backward scoops, flutter kicks and loads more exercises with more running and swimming in between. When we were doing the above I suddenly thought: “is this exercise?!” We were having lots of fun!
Walking up to the top of the cliff afterwards with legs of lead, reminded me: yes, with the resistance of the water, it is very certainly exercise!! And a 30 min intensive workout at that!!!
Edited the next morning: my friend sent me this poster (photo in replies)…. Couldn’t agree more.
