Hello Pals! I’m really late today, sorry about that. At least I can slow down a bit now. I’m really looking forward to my summer holidays. Well, staycation as usual… and it’s getting warmer and warmer which means my temper is getting shorter and shorter. I ordered this menopause supplement my colleagues are raving about and a really hope it’ll work because I’m at my wits’ end. Wherever it is. Wits’ End. It’s a good name for a cul-de-sac.
Anyway, let’s talk about exercise. I did Day ‘I-have-no-idea’ but I’m about to finish the 30-day challenge. My lower arm/elbow is fine at the moment but I’m sure it would hurt if I started grabbing weights again so I’ll most probably start a bodyweight program from next week. Who’s finishing the 30-day challenge this week?
Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment section. Did you know that elephants and chimpanzees can display behaviour patterns similar to post-traumatic stress disorder and depression? I would venture to say that the number of animal species that can display this behaviour is higher… As I was doing the ‘dead bug’ exercise with Brian this morning I thought ‘hm…I should google why bugs turn upside down when they die. Here’s why: When a bug is dead or dying, it cannot maintain tension in its leg muscles and naturally falls into a state of relaxation. (If you rest your arm on a table with your palm up and relax your hand completely, you'll notice that your fingers curl slightly when at rest. The same is true of a bug's legs.) Bonus fact: Did you know that Before the eraser, bread was used to remove pencil marks?

All right, Pals, I must go. Be good. (if you can)
