I usually just go from program to program, with maybe an extra day or two off after I complete one. However, after doing the 30-day challenge I decided to do a full week off of weights, biking to work, doing a 5-day Pilates challenge, etc. I felt great coming off that challenge, the past two programs I had really increased weight, felt strong and toned. I got nailed with a virus earlier this week and I still have low energy so even my Pilates has had some generous rescheduling and by the time I am ready to hit the weights again it will have been closer to two weeks off. Am I going to lose all of my prior progress? To be honest I don't really "get" the de-load process or how to properly do it. Thanks in advance for any input.
