Roamblender: another session of hard work and fun combined!
Only two of us tonight for our Roamblender session… and a pretty cold, stormy night at that. Mind you with running around and doing all the exercises we got warm pretty quickly. When we were on the cliff top my friend asked: “what’s that noise?” The crashing waves, of course! So we made our way down to the beach to do some of our exercises there. And in spite of it being dark, it was beautiful with the wild waves crashing on the beach in the moonshine!
Some of our exercises:
step ups on a bench, sideways squat walk round a (old Victorian) bus shelter, sprinting up along the steep side of a slide and running down the other side, woodchops, high plank plus leg lifts on rockers (my favourite exercise!), on the sand: captain morgan rainbows, two footed jump up steps, small arm circles, bird dog holds and many many more.
With warmup and cooldown another hour well spent: friends and fitness outdoors: the perfect combo!
