Hello Pals! How are you today? It’s a bright sunshiny day here (for a change) and I wish I could go outside and actually enjoy it a little. It’s the first day of our summer months here in the northern hemisphere and I’m not looking forward to sweating, bugs in my eyes and mouth, sweating, 800% humidity, and the deadly rays of that raging nuclear hell we call the Sun. Not that the Sun stops trying to kill us in winter but it feels a bit more pleasant. Anyway, as you can see, I’m not a summer girl.
Anyway, I’ll stop whining about summer and move on to what we all like (most of the time): exercise. I did Day 3 of Booty 3 which was a nice sweaty (I’ve just contradicted myself but I swear I don’t mind sweating when I work out and can hop into the shower right after) lower body routine with Tasha, which I’ve already done once but I liked it so I didn’t use my favourite swap feature. Oh, and a year has passed since I started my early morning workout sessions. It was easier at the beginning because I was a lot more disciplined about going to bed earlier. Nowadays…let’s just say I’m actively sabotaging my sleep cycle and peace of mind.
Random facts: Did you know that there are more Lego minifigures than there are people on Earth? Why aren’t they in charge yet…? Did you know that chewing gum boosts mental proficiency and is considered a better test aid than caffeine – but nobody knows why. Did you know that we feel “hangry” because it’s harder for us to control our emotions when our brains are low on glucose?
I’m getting a bit hangry now… All right, Pals, have an easy day. Don’t be hangry. Or angry.
