So I've recently had a radial head replacement (joint in elbow) after falling and shattering my elbow. It's been nearly 2 months, and my surgeon has just given me the go-ahead to get back into my routines. I am still healing a bit and working on my range of motion, which is very little right now. I am basically starting as a beginner. I haven't been a beginner in years, and it's been a struggle to even want to get back into a workout routine, knowing that I can't physically do the things I'm used to doing. I need some motivation as well as some advice on what I can do for workouts, for where I am right now. I am unable to do any exercises that require me to hold myself up, and I can only lift about 2-3 lbs at this time. I am allowed to slowly make my way to 20lbs. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated as I am seriously struggling.
