New Workout: Bodyweight HIIT Circuits – The Sequel!

Good morning FB Family!

If you enjoyed the decreasing intervals format of the Descending Intervals Bodyweight HIIT Circuits workout, you will enjoy today’s workout release just as well:

Bodyweight HIIT Circuits – Part II

This sequel workout follows the same format as its predecessor with all new exercises and many opportunities to challenge yourself. You will complete three rounds of two five-exercise circuits, beginning with your longest duration of work at 35 seconds and decreasing this working interval by 10 seconds with each subsequent round. The 15-second recovery interval between exercises remains the same during each round. Improve your performance with each round of work, finishing with a strong all-out effort that rivals the annoying perfection of “Little Tasha” in the right-hand corner of the screen.

We roll pretty quickly through this fast-paced workout so make sure to preview the exercises in the write-up or take a sneak peek at the video before pressing play. Start dialing in your focus and regulating your breath during the warm-up to further set yourself up for success.

I enjoyed dodging multiple sweat puddles and listening to a symphony of stomach noises throughout the workout (a combination of drinking too much water before starting the workout and daydreaming about my post-workout snack). Despite the stomach growling, I had a ton of fun pushing myself to work just a bit harder than I thought I could with each subsequent round. I hope you have just as much fun challenging yourself to (safely) push past any preconceived limitations.

Let us know how the sequel stacks up to the original in the comments below. Do you like wading through the discomfort of tough workouts? I certainly do, but I’ve been told I have weird hobbies and preferences so I’m honestly looking for other folks to corroborate my weirdness.

See you on the screen!
