Lost smell/taste with covid, leaving for Europe soon
Hi all, just really needing some encouragement and advice, if any to give. I got covid a week ago and all things considered it hasn't been bad at all, and I thought I was well on my way to complete recovery yesterday. So I did Day 2 of Reboot plus the extra credit because I felt like I had the energy, but also noted that I was feeling increasing pressure in my sinuses.
Well, while I was making dinner I noticed that my smell/taste was altered, and by the time I was done they were almost completely gone! I hardly have any other symptoms and I LOVE food, and am supposed to leave on a Europe trip on Sunday. I'm kind of devastated and really hoping it comes back soon, although I know there's not much I can do to control that.
Is there anyone else who has dealt with this symptom? For how long? It's probably omicron and I'm triple vaxxed for what it's worth.
