Daily Check-in: Thursday, June 2nd

Hello, Blendiez!

How are you all doing today? We're on the cusp of the first weekend of June! That's a good thing, methinks.

If all goes to plan this weekend, I should have some new little surprises to share with you early next week--so stay tuned!

Ok, fore I get too much further, let's talk ghosting! Here's our current schedule:

June 4th & 5th: Ingeborg

June 11th & 12th: Karen

June 18th & 19th: Lea

Any weekend after the 18th & 19th is open, so if you're interested in guest hosting, please let Raven or I know, and we'll get ya scheduled in! Thank all so much for volunteering, and as always, we look forward to hearing from you!

Okie dokie, let's get back to our Thursday, eh?

What's happenin today for ya, Blenderz? In workouts? In nutrition? In life? In work? In anything at all?

Well, let's see. Workout today for me should be an active recovery. I'm ok with that. I did Kelli's total body routine yesterday, walked the dogs awhile, and planted the last of my flowers. So I'm feeling a bit low energy today. A recovery routine is perfect for that.

As for food. I got nothin. I mean, I'm grateful to have food; but I'm not sure what to make with its purported ingredients to fashion a meal. I'm plumb outta ideas.

For other aspects, I've got some work to do today; a few assignments I can hopefully finish up. Then some dog walking and watering the garden and the squash and then the berries and finally the flowers. At some point, I need to clean house too. But shan't be this day.

Finally; here's another contribution to flower week! These are the aptly named Spring Beauties! Growing amongst the forest floor in gorgeous little clumps. They're such happy little blooms. And edible too! They have little tubers beneath the ground that you can harvest. But why do that when they're just so pretty, might as well leave 'em alone.
