Aging and Lifestyle Changes

As everyone can surely relate to, it’s been a tough few years. Most recently, my mom passed away, my husband is between jobs, and I started a full time job for the first time in about 15 years after raising my kids. I am used to a very active lifestyle and am now sitting at a computer most of the day. Also, I turned 45 in November. Between the more sedentary lifestyle, the stress and the aging, I see a difference in a matter of months. My weight is slowly but surely going up despite watching what I eat and working out before work 3-4 times a week and often walking after work. Maybe there is nothing more to do, but if anyone has experienced anything like this and has found something that helps, I’d very much appreciate any advice. Thank you!
