New Plus Workout: Pure Upper Body Strength with Core Finisher

Hi FB Family!

I hope you are all doing well — abundant with health and energy and ready for my newest workout.

Pure Upper Body Strength with Core Finisher

This workout is excellent for those who get bored easily and those who like consistency. We have four groups of three exercises following a shoulders-biceps-triceps format. We will go through each group twice. A great thing about this routine is that you can choose your difficulty level by how much weight you lift. My weights ranged between 5 and 15 pounds, making the workout a 3/5 difficulty. If you want to up the anty to a level 4 or 5, I say go for it! Just make sure you are not compromising your form for a greater challenge.

After the four groups of upper body strength, we will roll into the core finisher. This finisher is fun with some variations of planks, crunches, and bicycles. We move very quickly with no rest between exercises. I recommend looking over the exercises first to familiarize yourself before hitting play.

This routine was the first time I had done any upper body strength in three months! I knew I had to choose lighter weights to ensure proper form. It was a little disheartening to feel fatigued with 10-pound bicep curls when I used to use a minimum of 15 pounds. However, a little positive self-talk can go a long way. Despite taking a hiatus, I can get back to where I was a few months ago. It just takes time, patience, and determination.

I hope you enjoyed this routine. Thanks for working out with me!
