Inspired by Michele d, I'm going to (try to) post my progress through C25K, round 2. I say round 2 because I first did in in 2018/9 but I need to do it again since I basically took a year or so off from running. My endurance won't let me run a 5K without stopping, so I need to start over again.
This morning I finished week 1. The walk/run intervals are really short: 60 seconds of running followed by 90 of walking. It's so interesting: the first few are easy but the last ones get me panting. But I'm really enjoying myself! I fell in love with running and not being able to do it (a long story) last year was really hard.
The runner's high is also really wonderful, I get it even with the short intervals. So much energy from just a 20 minute workout. And getting outside...Ahh, so many benefits.
C25K week 1 done!
