Weights then HIIT?

Hi! I've been doing working on the FB Fit program for some time now and have seen results. But I was doing some reading recently and a lot of fitness article/blogs say that you should be doing weights first then cardio(HIIT). They say that cardio depletes energy for anaerobic work; basically you don't have enough energy left after cardio to proper/fully strength train. However, most the the FB videos do HIIT first then strength training. Any thoughts on that, has anyone done it the other way and noticed a difference? Does doing strength training before cardio actually make a difference? Thanks :)
