Little bit of hope

I'm officially done with outpatient therapy since the 1st of October. I just had a few appointments left, so I stayed with my parents a bit longer. Next week I can probably go home. I've been doing electro stimulation for my hand by myself, my way and I think it's helping. Early in the morning I can put my hand flat on the mattress. The rest of the day I still can't stretch any fingers, but it's something. I am in a few stroke survivor groups and I am planning to make some exercise videos to try and help some of the other survivors. Thanks to fitnessblender I know a lot about fitness and I really want to help others with exercises that specifically benefit stroke survivors. I can't pick up a dumbbell and Today I realized I could try a clean and press, and that it would be a perfect exercise for wrist stability and grip. And to help me get back to weight lifting. I tested it today with a 1 kilo weight and I was able to do the clean and press!! I haven't been excited in a while, but this definitely was exciting. 1 kilo isn't much but I got it to my shoulder and didn't drop it so I'm happy. Wanted to share it with you all. Everyone here has been so involved and amazing.
