So I got my body fat / BMR / Body Mass etc checked on Friday and my BF% is 3% higher than I thought I was which isn't much but got me feeling so gutted and down. I've had this goal to be as fit as I can be by June 16 (aka my birthday) and I have 10 weeks to go and I'm just gutted. I've made strides since starting but sometimes it still gets to me. My job too has been beyond stressful and I just took the weekend off from working out and meal prepping to eat whatever I want and rest. It's been a relatively unhealthy and indulgent saturday but I dont feel guilty about it. It was much needed. I'm still feeling down and demotivated though :(
I'm planning that on Monday I'm going to be a little more diligent to hit my macros- I usually over eat carbs and never hit my protein target. I hope I can lose the 5% body fat by June :( Is that a realistic goal or am I just setting myself up for failure? Does anyone else here count macros? What apps do you use? I found this website called Eat This Much which does a break down of your macros into meals, so I'll be using that. Has anyone else tried it?
