A smiley Sunday to you all! It's nice and sunny here which has been a rare occurrence in the past couple of weeks so I'll do my best to enjoy it. Yes, the cyclist emoji in the title is a kind of foreshadowing.
My fact-finder fragment is about a rather popular machine in the gym. Treadmills can be vicious if you don't know how to use them but did you know that they were once the harshest punishment short of the death penalty? Of course, treadmills looked more like huge hamster exercise wheels in those days but imagine having to explain why treadmills are not machines of torture to a 19th-century convict. And here's a bonus fact: 'The first treadmill on the International Space Station was ejected into space and burned up in the atmosphere.' So apart from ejecting their used underwear, they occasionally eject other things they don't need anymore. Think of this when you walk into a soft rain of dust.
Is Sunday your rest day? Or is there no rest for the wicked? I mean wickedly brilliant? I'm planning to do the scheduled stretching routine so there'll be a lot of procrastination today. What's your plan?
