Too sore to workout?

Hi. I'm currently doing FB Strong and I've noticed my upper body is always still sore when it's time for another upper body workout. So I was looking at the schedules and realized there's a 3 day break between lower body workouts and only 1 day break between upper body workouts, Is there a reason for that? Should I switch them up so I give my amrs time to recover or should I just push through? I mean, I CAN lift, it's just a little uncomfortable...
