I was wondering what you guys think about something I saw at the doctor a few days ago. I went to the doctor with my mom to get a referral to go to a specialist about my joint pains (finally) and my mom has her own problem as well. My mom was getting an x-ray done while I was in the waiting room. There was a television on the wall so people could watch while waiting to be called in. It wasn't showing any cartoons or the news but basically doctorlike commercials if you will about different things on doctors and things people should do to try and take care of themselves.
A particular thing came up and it caught my attention and honestly I was shocked but also curious to know if it was legitimately true or not. Believe it or not sometimes doctors and scientists don't know what they're talking about. Basically what it said was doing things to try to even out the body (brush your teeth with the opposite/non-dominant hand, doing one legged/armed exercises, or things like that) was pointless and waste of people's time. It said there was no scientific evidence that doing those things would improve the body in anyway or improve brain function whatsoever.
I was in so much shock that I looked it up and saw some things saying the same thing. I was confused. I thought back to FitnessBlender because Kelli and Daniel always tells us to always to do what we can to even out both sides of the body as closely as we can. Personally, I believe Kelli and Daniel and I'm not saying they're wrong but that really caught my attention.
What do you guys think about this? Sorry if it offends anyone.
Something I Saw at the Doctor
Hello Blender Peeps,
I was wondering what you guys think about something I saw at the doctor a few days ago.
