Rest/Recovery Days

Hello! I started training with Fitness Blender last August and have been hooked since. That being said, it's come to my attention that I really do need to have a rest day or two in between workouts. It seems I've been pushing myself through workout after workout and suddenly I'm having a hard time getting through some of the routines. I've read up on over training and realize now that this is a warning sign. I find it tough mentally to take a rest day so I like to do at least a stretching/yoga or light cardio routine. Just wondering what some of the other community members out there do on rest days. Is a Pilates routine too much for a rest day? Thanks for listening!
