I know Kelli and Daniel can relate to this post....
I am seriously considering adopting a cat as a companion for my dog, Zoey. Important to note, I have NEVER had a cat, lived with a cat, so this is uncharted territory! I’m considering this possibility as Zoey is now 8, she is getting a little older and with the pandemic, I’ve been home with her for almost a year now working remotely. Hope I can continue, but if not, I don’t want her to feel lonely if I go back to the office.
I used to have 2 dogs, but sadly I lost both of them within 2 months of each other; I don’t believe I could withstand that pain and loss ever again. This is why I’m considering adopting a very young kitty cat.
So.... anyone out there who has introduced a cat to their household with an established canine presence, I’m wide open to ideas, suggestions and help. Again, I have NEVER had a cat; feel intimidated!
Maybe adopt a cat when I have a Dog?
