Ahem, continuing with post Christmas shadow birthdays, we have another today, no really I ain't making this up just to eat more cake 😏😁 So that'll be moi today 🥳 We also know it's Adrienne's husband's birthday too 🥳 Party, party!
My twin, Ivett, the wiser and saner of us two, wrote a very kind and thoughtful post for me. I'm indeed grateful 🤗
I turn 37 today (what!!) And ever since I was about 17/18 yrs old, I've lived away from my parents and mostly on my own, for studies and work, lately different countries as well. (Still studying, don't know why 🤔). So for the past many years I've somehow managed to travel and be with them in this period and today. But this year that hasn't been possible. While this upsets me, I told myself better be happy for what is than what couldn't be. And it is true, when I look around I can count my blessings. I have this community and buddies here, and I have friends who are organising some small get together (yes, there'll be cake 🤩) this evening. We have a night curfew so it'll be very short and sweet in the afternoon. I've spent birthdays alone too, aren't bad. But I'm extremely grateful for today and the warm company I have 😊💜
Workouts: Today was supposed to be last workout for Old School challenge. I had done a brutal upper body last evening. And guess what to finish it in style, you guessed it, I hopped onto to the 1000 cal party. Although I chose this one, as it had low impact mode integrated throughout with either K or D doing them. My only second 1000 cal workout and I feel great! I know I'm going to be very sore for a couple of days! 😮😎
So that's curtains to the 2020 workouts. my next would be Jan 1. It's a break till then 😎
So tell me about your day, how's your Sunday coming along? What plans and what workouts have you planned in the run up to New Year's? And food, do tell what's cooking! 🤩
Some Cookie musings: someone got super lucky on her walk today. Saw two big groups of pigeons and 3 cats 😆 Anyways she's taken over my large pillow and bed 🐈 Also my first birthday with this fur baby as part of my life 💜
