Exercising Your Entire Life. Your. Entire. Life.

Think of it this way—you should be exercising through your entire life. Your. Entire. Life.

When it comes to working out and eating well, realize that this is YOUR journey. It doesn't matter how fit someone else is, or where you think you should be, you have to be willing to start where your body needs you to start, and make modifications as you need to so that nothing ends up being a roadblock to progress.

Come across an exercise interval that's too hard? Jog in place until it's over. Really struggling and need a break even though the interval is not over? Take a couple seconds to rest and recuperate a bit before you push yourself again.

Don't be afraid to work hard, but also know that it's your responsibility to make it work for you and that exercise is not a short-term solution, but a lifelong need. Do what you can, when you can, and be proud that you did!

Try to stack the deck in your favor. You’re in this for the long haul, so work out as smartly, and consistently, as possible.

If someone you know may need to hear this, pass the message along.
