8th Program This Year 💪

Hey FB Fam!

Really thankful to say that I began my 8th program of this year (Fit, Fit 2, Strong x2, Flex, Sweat x2, currently on Mass) on Monday! Might be able to fit in one more after that, but we'll see.

I haven't weighed myself this year. Mostly because, unfortunately, it can become obsessive for me, or drastically affect my mood. So I can't tell you if I've lost weight. But this year I have continually been reminded of the priviledge it is to be able to workout 5 or so days a week. I became very sick 6 years ago and was mostly bedridden for a year--and I know what it's like to not be able to even go for a walk outside. So I am incredibly thankful to be able to move, to lift weights, and to feel like I'm going to die while Kelli and Daniel are still smiling, haha :)

This year I have continued to learn that my worth is not found in what my body looks like. And that the goal of exercise shouldn't merely be aesthetics. Hard not to be discouraged sometimes when I didn't seen drastic changes in my body, but learning to be proud of the other "wins."

I can go harder for longer. I can easily squat holding 45-50lb dumbbells per hand. My upper body strength isn't COMPLETELY terrible 😅 My flexibilty has definitely increased.

Anyway, I'm forever thankful for FB. Kelli and Daniel are like friends I have never met. And I'm thankful to be working out alongside of you all this year.
