Hello Blender friends, we've made it to the weekend! I had a terrible time figuring out which thought to share today. Mainly because it is Saturday, I slept late, and my caffeine hasn't really kicked in.☕ So, a little later than usual here is a pragmatic thought from a wise woman:
“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
I've certainly made my share of mistakes. I don't have a particular story to share, except maybe that if you have to do a clean and sweep with only one hand during a workout, make sure you are completely present to that movement, because a move with momentum can really mess you up if you're not paying attention! Of course, being mindful and present during your workouts is a lesson Kelli and Daniel have shared with us on many occasions... it's just that sometimes it takes a good mistake to set a lesson firmly into the mind. In fact, during a few years when I taught various computer and Internet-related skills, I always told my students to make as many mistakes as they could during classes, while I was with them, because it's a great way to remember things.
On here, we seem to share our mistakes as well as our victories, so go ahead: any good mistakes you'd like to share? I'm ready to learn a thing or two.
As always, I want to remind all blenders that everyone is always welcome to jump in, join in and add a comment or two, we would love to hear from you.
