I really love to challenge myself, to feel fit, and to be active as much as possible. It genuinely brings so much goodness to my love. With an upcoming surgery (13 days away infact) I've been trying to push myself a little extra as I know life is about to change for me and I won't be able to do anything besides go for walks for six weeks (& then most likely it'll be modified workouts at first while I gradually build up my strength/endurance again).
The thing is --- I'm hitting some major body fatigue & mental fog. I hate this feeling. I have a feeling it's from doing too much plus increasing weights simultaneously, but I'm hesitant to stop/don't really want to curtail my plans.
I do a mix of FB workouts, walks, spin, boxing, strength/treadmill sprint workouts (at a boutique type gym), and a little yoga + mobility training.
Tonight I'm booked in for strength/treadmill sprints type of workout + a restorative yoga class. I'll also do a gentle 40 minutes of walking throughout my day (moreso just to loosen up my tight muscles). Tonight I plan on lifting lighter weights and depending how my legs feel, lowering the speed at which I'm running.
Stumbling in and out of overtraining
