Hey there my mighty Blender mateys! How goes the ins & outs, ups and downs of your Thursday? ..I'm kinda ready for this week to be over and possibly accepting my baseline as a bit bananas. Or maybe it's the fact that I finally got homegrown bananas from my reject banana plant!
This. Is. So. Amazing. And I'm absolutely bananas for bananas. And going to say "banana" way too many times during this check-in.
Anyone remember the banana flower I shared sometime around spring? Well, my throwaway banana has been thriving in the compost and has delivered in the yummiest way possible with this fine banana trophy that we harvested the other day.
Before you ask, bananas were absolutely harmed. Maybe not in the making of this photo, but most certainly post photo shoot when it came time to devour these golden fingers. No survivors.
It has been difficult to get bananas here, so these little fruitys mean everything about overcoming the odds and thus bringing loose and long winded motivation; brought to you by bananas.
Okay, enough about me and my slight banana obsession. Let's get to why you are really here. The food! Kinda have to talk about food now after all that banana talk. So what will you be eating today? Quite simply I'm going to have a clear out the fridge combined with pantry finds to make a hodge podge dinner of something. But let's here it for you!
And also how you plan to workout or rest today! I've got total body strength scheduled, so I'm going to see how I do and hope it's not too heavy on the arms. If so, I will modify accordingly. So I hope whatever you are doing, you enjoy it. And never fear modifications! They can really help with the all or nothing mindset for workouts.
Now let's just jump right on in here to talk about ghosting. Well, it's a big one as not only do we need a weekend ghost, but we will need some ghosts to fill in the weekdays as I will be on a break starting the 10th and coming back on Monday the 17th. So basically I ask you blenders, who wants to do some guest hosting for the daily check-in? We can have more than one! Someone can do the weekends, a few can do the weekdays, so tell me what day you would like to ghost and lets make a nice little ghost party! 👻👻👻 ..All are welcome to take a swing at it; no real requirements. Just step up and say the day or days you'd like to do!
