I’m writing this here to have some sort of accountability. I have been execerising more but my eating habits have gotten really bad. I used to never drink sugar (because I love desserts so much, it was a commitment I made to reduce my total sugar intake) so I would only drink unsweet tea, water and I’d put unsweetened almond milk in my coffee.
Now... I drink Arnold Palmers, I buy Cinnabon Coffee creamer, and I buy sugary Starbucks drinks every chance I get (which is only about 3 times a month - but still)
I’m saying all of this to show how much my diet has drastically changed over the past few months.
So I am making a list of “new habits.”
1. Do not eat fast food after church. Eat something nutritious at home.
2. Avoid white bread as much as possible.
3. Only 1 Starbucks drink a month.
4. Do not purchase sugary creamers.
5. Buy more snacking vegetables & fruit (mini bell peppers, sugar snap peas, apples, etc)
6. Keep a food journal (I always fail at this but I am going to really try my best.)
7. Eat real dessert (healthified recipes are permitted a little more often) only on Sunday afternoons (there is always something yummy available then.)
This is what I’m starting with, once I feel that I have accomplished these things, I will be adding more to the list!
