When I woke up this morning I didn't feel much pain which is great! I made my own kind of fun workout as well. When I was younger I used to play a game called Dance Central and this morning I thought I could do a couple dance routines then add on this total body strength workout: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/10-minute-fat-burning-total-body-workout-dynamic-strength-training . It was probably the most fun workout combo I've ever done and one of the best things about it is that anyone can do it. You can simply just put on your favourite tunes for 10 mins and dance around, have a little water break and then tackle the workout.
I've also made a few changes into my workout calendar this month to do only 3 total body exercises in the week. Due to my pain flares I think this is one of the better things to do to ensure that I get enough rest and I work it around my days. However this is just a type of trial to see if it helps my pain because I'm not too sure if the extra rest days will help or not. One of my best types of 'medicines' is to workout so I was a little hesitant about changing it around to decrease the amount of time I exercise but only time will tell. One of the better benefits of having less workouts in the week is that I can squeeze in a little yoga every here and there so I can work on flexibility. My flexibility recently has taken a massive nose dive so hopefully this can help me out a little plus one of the benefits of yoga/stretching is that it can decrease stress levels which is one of my main triggers for pain. I think one of the best benefits as well is that it's not very demanding on the body so after a long day you can just do some simple stretches and loosen up your muscles whether it's for 10 or 30 mins.
Feeling better and new changes
