I like filling up a bowl with crunchy chips, crackers, nuts, etc. and just mindlessly reach over and snack away while working on a project.
Now that I'm trying to eat better and not mindlessly I need to try to find an alternative snack.
I dont like to just have a nibble of something and be done, example a scoop of yogurt that is gone on 5 minutes. I prefer something stretched out that I can eat a bit of and satisfied for a while and then grab a bit more. This can probably be helped with slowing down how fast I eat, so I will try to also do that.
I need something with very little to no carbs as I save my carbs mostly for my main meals. That seems to cut a huge section of snack food out.
Nuts are ok just the serving size doesn't satisfy my snack needs all the time. Again, slowing down how fast I eat might help with this.
I have found raw chopped veggies, cherry tomatoes, grapes, and pickles to be a good alternative but I get bored eating the same thing over and over.
What are some healthy munchie snacks you guys make?
*P.S. I'm also pescatarian(no meat except fish and eggs)
