No stretching before main workout?

K&D often said to make stretching the last exercise of the day / not stretch before doing a main workout--usually in the context of longer (> 20 mins) stretching videos.

My question:

- Does this apply to shorter stretches? Something like https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/relaxing-stretching-workout-for-stiff-muscles-and-stress-relief-easy-stretches-to-do-at-work

- Does this apply to main workouts that are not super intense? eg. level 2-3, 20-30 minutes of low impact cardio & strength mix

Problem is, I often feel tired and have no energy for any kind of workout, and I'd do stretches like my first link above / other non-FB video (usually short videos from Yoga with Adriene), THEN I'd suddenly want to do something more. 🤦🏽‍♀️ But I wonder if I should, because stretching should be the last workout of the day.

What do y'all think?
