It is a weird day for me. It is Kingsday today, a day that is normally filled with activities, music and beer ;) but none of that today ofcourse. So we are home, hanging out, again. We might visit my mother in law today, it is sunny and she has a big garden, so we can keep our distance..
This week we were told by the government that the coronameasures will stay in effect till the end of may. My son will be able to go to school 2 days a week, starting may 11th. All festivities/events have been cancelled for summer. That was quite a let down, but it is what we need to do..
Goals..
My goals were to make it through the week during the first week of my sons holiday (no schoolwork to keep him busy). We did pretty good, though he is a preteen and gets on my nerves sometimes..
I wanted to:
**go for at least 1 longer walk this week (at least 5k): did not do in one go, but walked to and from work on friday, which is 6k total
**practice mindful eating: I used a new app, but I dislike having to take a picture of every meal. It had made me more mindfull though. I even skipped the second chocolate egg after eating 1 and realising I was just eating 'because'...
Goals this week:
**continue mindfull eating and improve how I do it (become more aware of body signals)
Weekly goals april 27th-may 3rd
Fijne koningsdag to all my fellow Dutchies!
