I just wanted to wish a happy Resurrection Day to all those blenders who celebrate what Jesus has done for the world.....
...and share lovely spring flowers from Korea, to hopefully brighten your day and mood if that’s what you’re needing.
With the weather getting warmer, I‘ve been taking my daughter out to the little playground in front of our apt, which she loves, but we don’t get much outside time these days. Just decided it was the perfect time to take some pics and share what Korea looks like in the spring. I think it was Esther S who asked that I share.
On top are forsythias~ from farther away and close-up...don’t mistake the little pink flower in the middle there for a plant. That’s my daughter. ❤️
The pink flower on the bottom left is the first rhododendron I’ve seen. Most haven’t blossomed yet. They’re similar to azaleas, which also bloom here, but I can’t get any pics of those, bc most of those grow further up on the mountains.
The last pic is cherry blossoms, which are in full bloom right now. It’s been windy, too, so the petals fall away from the trees like snow. It’s beautiful.
I’ve been really appreciating the #StayConnected challenge. I’ve been able to do all of it, though my ankle is still on the mend. It’s great motivation to know that many of you are working out with me. Let’s remember to be thankful for all the little things...for me, beautiful spring days and being able to stay connected to all of you, this wonderful FBfamily. ❤️
Please share your spring pics if you’ve got them (for those in the Northern hemisphere)~ it’d be fun to share other springs from around the world~
