I finished 8 straight weeks of working out 5 days a week and eating a healthy balanced diet. I did two rounds of FBStrong back to back and absolutely loved it. I really impressed myself with the progress I made during the routine from round 1 to round 2. I didn't cut any foods out, just tried to eat healthy a majority of the time and added foods I craved every once in a while.
Things I gained/learned
1. Strength training really helped my posture.
2. Life happens, it's okay to hangout with friends and enjoy food or eat out. Doesn't mean you ruined all the work you did--just get back on it.
3. Patience/maintain is key. It's hard not to expect the weight to come right off. I lost 11 pounds in 8 weeks while also gaining muscle. Before I would have expected to lose a lot more but I learned this is a lifestyle I can maintain which is the main goal. Instead of starting a crazy yo-yo diet I told myself "I don't do that anymore" and it really helped.
