Staying present, listening to your body, and being honest with where you are at the moment can make such a difference in the efficacy of your workouts. Making modifications as you go is nothing to be ashamed of…and it could even mean that you are making adjustments to make certain workouts or exercises more (not less!) difficult.
The bottom line is that you should always move through every workout very consciously. If you feel like you need to make adjustments, listen to your body and do exactly that.
Many of our workouts have modifications built in, like our newest FB Plus routine, 50 Minute HIIT Cardio & Abs Workout, which provides both advanced and intermediate options, high and low impact variations. For others, you’ll have to make adjustments yourselves, but once you’ve gotten the hang of it, it will become second nature.
