Week 1 🌹SIF🌸 Accountability Group Post: MONDAY, MARCH 2

Good morning, SIF Accountability Group!

Happy March 2nd and Spring Month! Boy, am I ready to get started with you all. I am just giddy with excitement thinking about all the discussions, tips, and encouragement that are going to circulate between us here in this group over these next 8 weeks.

I am about to start Day 1, Week 1 of FB Fit Round 2. Today is the Physical Fitness Test, and I am ready to push myself to see what I am capable of RIGHT NOW. Can’t wait to test myself after 8 weeks 😊

I did want to share my personal goals with the group as an accountability snapshot of this season in my life. I want to bring these words and figures back at the end of April to see how far I’ve come and to CELEBRATE my progress. I encourage you all to do the same, though I never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. You do what feels right for you!

So—here are my personal goals and where I am now:

Heaven’s Goals:

Fitness: Fat loss (a major goal), increase strength, tone up, increased endurance

Nutrition: Up my veggie intake, drastically decrease processed sugar intake

Weight: I weigh 141 pounds. I would like to see this number drop, of course, but know this is not the main goal. I will measure my body for my own personal records to see what really changes!

I want to encourage everyone to look at this screenshot once a week to keep yourself pressing towards your goals (set a reminder on your phone to re-read it!). The saying “Out of sight, out of mind” is very truthful and real.

Additionally, I plan to reward myself at the end of these 8-weeks with a new summer dress or swimming suit to celebrate my gains (and let’s hope, losses!). Choose a reward that makes you feel good and alive. Work hard to earn your reward!

These next 8 weeks will pass you by no matter what. Whether you choose to move your body, crush your goals, and take care of yourself is up to you. Work hard and make every single day count!
