Daily Check-in: Monday, February 24th

Hello, hello my fellow awesome FB'ers. How are you all feeling today? How was the weekend? Shout out to Storm for taking up the ghosting effort and doing a great job of it! And, Korse, if you're up for it and still willing, you can most certainly have your turn this weekend!

Now, how are the views of Monday looking from your local balcony? The views for you here today are these clusters of delicate pinky white flowers that are from the tree/shrub, Walter's Viburnum. Or short-leaf Viburnum. A guy named Thomas Walter first described this tree many many years ago, so let's give it to him. These Walters are just exploding with these flowers right now. So another sign of Spring, or that it is coming. At least in my area. Might be a different story in your area.

The other different story could be that of a workout one; so, tell us a sweat story, a real HIIT. Or maybe your story is that of rest? Both are healthy reads, so enjoy! I'm going into my fourth and final week of Abs2, starting out the week with some HIIT cardio with an extra credit in the form of lower body strength training. Feels right for today, so I'll be getting to that, but do enjoy all the movement and rest you are up to and down for.

Okay, now I've held off the food paragraph for too long. What real food will you be eating today? ..Honestly, I didn't have the best eating weekend. I ate pretty lousy and in turn felt lousy about that. In the past I would really beat myself up about this, and make myself more miserable on those eating "mistakes" ..I put mistakes in quotes because eating bad or not as healthy for a weekend shouldn't be a mistake. That is life and this spat of unhealthier food won't make a difference in the big picture and there's absolutely no point in dwelling. Plus, it was almost kinda worth it, lol. ..But I know today is a fresh start to eat more real food, stay hydrated and get more on track to feeling good. I think dinner will be some cauliflower, cucumber salad and roasted pork loin. But what's going on your plates and bowls today? Share and share!

Alright, everyone ready to have a good and goal crushing week? Or we could totally crawl and stumble our way through the week. Lots of ways and options here, but keep that head held high, and try for a smooth ride. Knowing myself, I'm bound to trip a little along the way. But no worries because one way or another, we will get there. There being what and wherever you decide. :)
