I'll be doing several multi-day hikes in the near future and I want to prepare myself. I just finished the low impact program to get back into working out consistently (I always start way too intense and then insure myself). I am wondering, which program would you recommend as a preparation for hiking?
I know, I can't have it all, but I prefer low impact (because my shins are extremely prone to shin splints), no dumbbells (I am travelling, so I am using water bottles, better than nothing but it sucks anyways) and no exercises that put a lot of pressure on the wrists (I have chronic pain in my wrists, dumbbells are ok but the 90° angle of push-ups etc. is killing me).

Hi there,
I'll be doing several multi-day hikes in the near future and I want to prepare myself. I just finished the low impact program to get back into working out consistently (I always start way too intense and then insure myself). I am wondering, which program would you recommend as a preparation for hiking?

Thanks a lot in advance!
