I have noticed repeated signs that I need to step it back. I love working out and adventure sports and any movement; it’s my therapy and passion and has been a huge part of my life for years. But with a change in life I can see that it is something I need to check and not over do it, a lesson I have had over and over. So this January I am not starting a fresh plan or begin some training. I am going to work out less. I will take more rest days, listen to my body intently, and move in ways that feel good and don’t bring unhealthy pain/exhaustion. I am entering a restful cycle after reaching some of the best shape of my life, and it is a scary transition! It is hard for me to take this step. I would love any tips and advice from anyone who has been through this, or reassurances. I love this community, be well friends, whatever form that takes.
Slowing Down
Dear Fb family,
I have noticed repeated signs that I need to step it back.
