Daily Check-in: Fitness Friday, December 27th

Hello, everyone! How are you doing? Once again we are face to face with another Friday. Hopefully that brings some good news to your eyes, yeah? Any plans formulating for the weekend? Curious minds want to know!

Curious minds also should know that we've got more color changing leaves falling for Friday. The wild persimmons are mostly bare these days, but this little guy here is hanging on with a firey determination and color to boot. Eventually it will give in to winters demands because leaves can only do those static holds for so long. And we are not almost done.

But what we are almost done with is 2019, which leads us into a Fitness Friday. And since it's the last Friday of 2019, the question is obvious and centered around, you guessed it; New Years Resolutions. Do they work for you or no? Maybe you don't even think much about it. And if you have some resolutions, share them!

Regarding resolutions, I used to make a bunch, end up putting too much pressure on myself and actually end up not doing any of them and then feel bad about it.. Something about a new year feels so fresh, like anything is possible and I want to do so much! But I have to temper myself. Last year I picked a couple things, and I'm pleased to say I've more or less stuck with it! I tried to keep it simple and like with anything you want to get better at, build consistency as your base, and not make those goals too overwhelming. Small goals, little victories add up; especially when you look back and see how far you've come. And who says you have to wait until the new year to start something? Or maybe your resolution could be not having a resolution, but that's just cheating now. :P

We'll maybe you can think about the Fitness Friday Q during a workout; that is, if you are doing one today. Maybe a rest day is better suited? I'm not sure if I'll actually get to a workout. Bit of a busier morning coming up, but if I do one later it might be something like total body strength. Maybe a kettle bell session? We shall see. But to keep satisfying the curious, share the sweaty and sweet satisfactions of workouts and rest!

And as always, never shall a check-in pass without food talk! Simple for me; it's pizza! And to continue pleasing the ever curious, what are you eating? How are you eating? Note this is different than what you are eating. Whatever and however, remember to hold and use those utensils with good form and make that meal experience nice and tight.

Alright. If I haven't hammered in the point by now, it's Friday. Which means tomorrow is weekend! Which also means we got another Blender other than myself doing the weekend check-in! ..Ghosting (guest hosting) this weekend is Kristina! Thanks for doing this, Kristina, and have fun! I'm sure we're all curious to read how she infuses her own style with these check-ins. No pressure, right? Seriously, like I've said, there's no wrong way to do it.

Ah, but I'm getting ahead of myself; Let me snap you back to Friday. Collect your ingredients and bake up a nice day. And don't forget the leavening; because that's how we rise.
