Our seaswimmers club organised a winter solstice swim... the weather was perfect for it. Our son joined us and I just love this pic of him (taken BTW with a very cheap underwater camera...!). It looks as if he was the only “lonely” swimmer in the water! Well, he was not, there were about 20 of us. The waves were massive, (which that photo doesn’t show... I have put a photo in the comments which shows that a little bit!), so not much swimming for us, just jumping about enjoying the waves. We were only in there for 6 mins but with water temp of 9 and air temp 6 that was good enough for me this morning. Now two and a half hours later I have warmed up nicely, well, bar my feet.
I just had to post this pic.... sorry!
